March 17, 2011 Update

Family and Friends:
The State Department has authorized VOLUNTARY evacuations our of Japan for those who want or need to leave. We are still staying, as there is no threat or danger here on the base so far. We trust those at the Medical Group who are working long and hard hours testing the air, water, and food here at Yokota.

Once again, we are safe. You can keep updated either on Facebook, or on the Yokota Air Base official site: www.yokota.af.mil. We know it is hard to believe that we are safe with all the US news, but we trust those here will get us out if the situation deteriorates.

Keep praying for those Japanese up near the disaster site, the workers at the nuclear plant, and those working the search and rescue efforts.

Praying for your safety and that of the Japanese nationals. May God have mercy on this nation, and may many come to know Him through this devastating situation!
